The upstairs taproom at Furnace Room Brewery has become a beloved gathering spot for locals to socialize and enjoy a pint. The design brief called for a rustic yet tasteful space rich in character. Key features included a 60-foot wall mural showcasing iconic beer brand characters, antique Spanish sconces, and a custom driftwood light fixture. A rustic mirror replaced an oversized TV to reflect light and enhance the space, while historic canvas prints celebrated Georgetown's heritage.

Cozy corners featured leather armchairs, a retro fireplace, and vintage art, inviting relaxation, while a vintage record player encouraged nostalgia. Indoor plants added a natural touch, and a rustic wooden bar offered additional seating. Unique details, like a wall-mounted vintage bicycle honoring the community’s ‘Chicken Man,’ and floating art of Georgetown's Barber Mill, created visual interest.

Downstairs, custom wood shelves highlighted retail items, completing the brewery's transformation into a warm and welcoming retreat for beer enthusiasts. Cheers!
